Selling a family member's home is rarely simple, especially when there's a lifetime of belongings to sort through. I've managed full estate sales from listing to close, including coordinating the removal and donation of furniture on a tight timeline, so families don't have to fly back to Florida to handle it themselves. One recent estate sale in Port Orange went from listing to signed contract in about a month, in a tough market, with the family never needing to return in person.
Buying From Out of State
Searching for a home from another state is hard, especially when you can only fly down for a handful of visits. I pay close attention to what you like and don't like in the homes we tour, and I keep looking on your behalf even after you've gone home. I believe in finding the right home, not just closing a sale, which sometimes means telling a client a home isn't the one. That approach helped one Michigan couple find their Florida retirement home in just two months, after ten years of searching on their own, and they trusted me enough to make an offer on a home they hadn't even seen in person.
Selling When You Can't Be Here
If you're relocating, downsizing, or simply live out of state, I act as your eyes, hands, and advocate on the ground here in Florida. That means coordinating contractors and repairs, attending every inspection and showing, and keeping you updated throughout, so you're never left wondering what's happening with your home. I'll soon offer remote online notary (RON) as well, so out-of-state clients can close without ever needing to travel to Florida.
